Controller and audience

Jared Li, independent developer of BBFood, is the controller and support owner for this app. BBFood is intended for adult caregivers and is not directed to children.

BBFood is an organization and meal-notes tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, dosage, emergency guidance, prevention guarantees, or allergy-cause attribution.

Data handled in the app

BBFood handles caregiver-entered information on the device, including a baby profile and stage context, meal plans and notes, ingredient and allergy-related state, pantry and preparation details, onboarding state, and local content-sync status. The app does not create an account or use a developer-readable user identifier for this local data.

In the current default-disabled configuration, editorial transport is not activated in production. No production editorial URL or enabled client composition is configured. If that changes, the privacy review must be reopened before activation.

Retention, deletion, and backups

The current app does not provide a complete user-facing profile or log deletion flow. Local app data remains until the app or its operating-system container is removed. Apple-managed device backups may persist separately. BBFood does not operate a backup service and does not promise backup exclusion or restore behavior.

Device access and backup controls are managed through the operating system.

Optional support email

If you choose to email imjaredli+bbfood@gmail.com, Jared Li receives your email address and the information in your message to respond to the request. Support correspondence may be retained for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required by law. Please avoid sending information you do not want to share by email.

Static policy-site delivery

These Support and Privacy files are delivered as a static site through Cloudflare Pages. This site contains no app form, cookie, advertising, analytics, or developer script. Cloudflare service and privacy practices are governed by Cloudflare's own terms and privacy documentation; BBFood does not make an independent claim about Cloudflare's operational-data retention.

Policy changes

When this policy changes, BBFood will publish the revised policy and its new effective date on this page before the change takes effect. Prior published versions are retained in BBFood release records and may be requested through Support.

Security and limits

BBFood uses the app container and local-only configuration described above, but no system can promise absolute security. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and its backups.
